In a declining global economy, the return on investment from digital transformation is an urgent question that needs to be answered.

At present, over 80 percent of company managements have top priority to question or develop new business models. In order to remain competitive in the future, companies must move as quickly as possible from the installation phase of experimenting with digital platforms to the provision phase of creative design. This leads to a rapid adaptation of products and services, which is reflected in financial bottom line results.

With the REACT-EU funding program, among other things, coaching for the realignment, further development and adaptation of business models, including the conceptual specification and support for implementation.

A coaching can deal with, for example

  • Business model innovations in relation to the systematic development of product and process innovations, diversification into new business models and the opening up of new markets.
  • Development of new business models by networking products and services (“servitization”) and opening up new markets by offering new, innovative services.
  • Development of innovative digital business models based on digital technologies such as cloud platforms, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, big data and data-based services.

Basically, our coaching includes a look at the company’s finances, structure and optimization of success.

On the basis of theoretical principles and practical experience, we at the STRIMgroup have developed a coaching framework that interlocks both aspects – theory and practice – against the background of a specific company situation along the St. Gallen Management Model:

  1. Checkup (preview area)
  2. ACTUAL configuration (location and assessment area)
  3. TARGET configuration (target and course area)
  4. Implementation and optimization (driving and maneuvering area)

A PDCA cycle acts as a quality management system, which is “fed” by constant customer feedback – both paper-based and online.
