Our CEO, Dr. Volker Mayer, will give a lecture on November 7, 2014 in Zurich on “Relationships between Leadership Development, Employee Engagement and Business Performance” at 10 AM. The conference “4th annual HR Transformation, Talent and Employee Engagement Forum” is hosted by Thought Leader Global in the Swissotel Zurich.

Human Resources is facing three key challenges in its role as strategic business partner:

  1. HR’s role in global transformation programmes,
  2. strengthening talent management and
  3. improving employee engagement.

HR’s role in transformation depends on its ability to manage effective communication channels during the change process. How HR enhances its knowledge of the key challenges inherent in transformation is critical. Additionally, HR’s use of performance management tools are a success factor. These abilities also support transformations that occur during post-merger integration. Talent management requires not only transparency but effective use of digital and social media. This goes hand in hand with employer branding and employee engagement (recruiting internally and supporting senior management talent). Both engagement and employer branding have to be handled locally and globally in a way that supports the company’s mission and culture.
